Auburn Real Estate
As the largest city in Eastern Alabama, we have still managed to maintain our southern charm. With all the city has to offer, don’t be surprised when a short visit turns into a life long stay. The opportunities in Auburn are limitless. As the home of Auburn University, there is naturally a lot of community pride in the Tigers and we are happy to support the Tigers any chance we get. Auburn returns the favor by creating jobs for the community and offering opportunities from watching a football game to plays on campus.
One advantage of living in a college town is the emphasis that is placed on academics. Auburn’s school system has repeatedly been ranked among the top public school systems in the state and nation. Auburn City Schools has been ranked among the top 100 school districts in the United States by Parenting magazine and as the best educational value in the Southeast by the Wall Street Journal. Additionally, Auburn High School was ranked in 2006 by Newsweek as the top non-magnet public high school in Alabama, and one of the top 30 in the United States.
While we love our Tigers, we are not only a college town. There are multiple opportunities in the industrial, manufacturing, and research sectors as we have four technology parks where main areas of industrial focus are on the manufacture of small engines, automotive wheels, fuel cells, plastic injection technology, and vehicle armor. Manufacturing jobs are nearby with Kia and Hyundai manufacturing plants close to town.
We aren’t always working though. The recreation opportunities here are unmatched. Whether you are interested in golfing on world class greens, eating lunch on the train tracks, or simply enjoying the soulful jazz of the South Auburn has you covered. Our winters are mild and our summers are very Southern!
